The Fight of The Century and the Nevada Athletic Commission

Well, it’s finally here.  Fight Night.

Factoid: Burt Clement (one of tonight’s judges) is the guy who screwed Pacquiao in the Marquez draw, by giving him a 10 -7 first round rather than 10-6 after he scored 3 knockdowns. Clement ultimately scored the fight a draw.

And he’s assigned to the “Fight of the Century”?

Even more incredibly, the other two judges scored that fight the same – 115-110…. except one had Marquez winning and the other Pacquiao!  Were they watching the same fight? Is the Nevada Athletic Commission kidding?

Locals are staying way from the Strip tonight.  Cops, hospitals, and all emergency personnel are preparing for any eventuality.
